Franciaország, 1963. Natacha gyermekkora óta a szabadság és a kaland után vágyik, álma pedig egy névvel bír: légiutas-kísérő. Csodálja azokat a nőket, akik a világot járják, kötöttségek nélkül, férj és főzés nélkül. Azonban minden erőfeszítése ellenére Natacha nem felel meg a kor ideális légiutas-kísérőjének elképzelésének.
